Info About The PADA Performing Team
The Phoenix AcroDance Academy (PADA) Performing Team is the academy’s flagship performance group, celebrated for its dynamic artistry and its presence on some of the United Kingdom’s most prestigious stages. Our dancers have performed at renowned venues including the Birmingham Hippodrome, Indigo at The O2 London, Alton Towers Scarefest, The Crescent Birmingham, and the Blackpool Winter Gardens Opera House, among many others. Each performance offers students the chance to showcase their talent, creativity, and discipline while experiencing the thrill of performing in professional environments.
Although the PADA Performing Team is primarily a non‑competitive group, it occasionally participates in selected competitions to broaden students’ experiences. The team’s excellence was recognised in both 2021 and 2023, when they achieved first place and earned an outstanding 95/100 for their Inter Acro Group Dance, “Inferno.” These achievements highlight the team’s dedication, technical skill, and the powerful unity shared among its members.
A defining feature of the PADA Performing Team is its inclusive and diverse ethos. The team welcomes students of all ages and abilities, ensuring that every dancer—whether advanced or just beginning their journey—has the opportunity to perform. This inclusive approach fosters a supportive environment where dancers learn from one another, build confidence, and develop the true meaning of teamwork. At PADA, we believe every student deserves the chance to shine on stage, and our performing team proudly reflects that philosophy.
Beyond the spotlight, the PADA Performing Team nurtures values that extend far beyond dance. Students learn cooperation, resilience, and camaraderie as they work together, overcome challenges, and celebrate shared achievements. These experiences not only elevate their performance skills but also contribute to their personal growth and character development.
In essence, the PADA Performing Team is more than a performance group—it is a vibrant, nurturing community where diverse talents come together to grow, inspire, and flourish. With every performance, the team embodies PADA’s commitment to inclusivity, excellence, and the joy of dance, leaving a lasting impression on both its members and audiences alike.
